The Venue Menu An Overview of the Fine Art Market Finding venues for your art can be a daunting task. In this workshop, we'll explore fine art venues from A to Z - from coffee shops to museums. Artists are often at a loss about the differences between galleries, museums, and artist co-ops and about how to approach the various venues to get their art shown. We'll discuss submission guidelines, juries, show applications, calls for entry, contracts, grants, residencies, alternative markets, and networking. We'll also explore issues related to art representation and commission fees. You'll leave this workshop with a working understanding of how the fine art world operates. - $44.
